Summary
AI visibility is not a guaranteed ranking position. It is the readiness of public information to help answer tools identify the business, understand its services and locations, assess trust, and cite useful sources without inventing details.
Make the business entity unambiguous
Use a consistent business name, category, website, phone, location, service descriptions, and official profile links. Similar names, outdated pages, conflicting addresses, and generic descriptions make entity resolution harder.
Create an About page and clear service pages that explain what the business does, who it serves, where it operates, and how customers can verify or contact it.
Make important information crawlable
AI answer tools depend on accessible source material. Important facts should exist in visible HTML, not only inside images, closed dashboards, form responses, or scripts that fail to render for crawlers.
Use structured data as supporting context
Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, BreadcrumbList, and other relevant structured data can make relationships more explicit, but markup should match visible page content. Generated schema drafts do not count as implemented until they are published and rescanned.
Build trust and external corroboration
Consistent profiles, genuine reviews, credible mentions, customer policies, contact proof, and useful third-party references can strengthen confidence. A single self-published page should not be treated as complete authority for every claim.
Publish useful, current source material
Maintain service details, hours, policies, FAQs, guides, and dated updates when information changes. Freshness should come from real public updates, not simply from running a scan or generating an unpublished draft.
